Vintage Patina Beading Wire!

Literally hundreds of you have written to me over the years to ask for oxidized beading wire. I'm very excited to tell you I've finally located a company to make a beautiful smooth oxidized beading wire for us. I have ordered three gauges for you and it should be here some time next week. I'll list it under "New Listings" as soon as it arrives. We will have 20 gauge, 22 gauge and 24 gauge.

During those first couple of years as a full time designer, I had trouble visualizing the very busy upcoming season, while in the midst of the slow summer months. It's not easy to stay motivated to create more inventory when you aren't selling much at the time. It didn't take long to recognize the peaks and valleys in yearly sales trends. After that first couple of years, I was much better prepared for the multiple market weeks and trunk shows soon to follow. I made lot's more inventory and kept extra supplies on hand so that I would have what I needed to fill those special orders.

Make the most of this slow selling season to stock up on your best selling styles, organize and clean your work space and order what you know you will need lots of. Some of the major manufactures and suppliers close for about two weeks in July. AccessoriesSusan will remain open and will be filling your orders all month. That means we may sell out of some things over the next few weeks but shipments will start coming in again near the end of July when everyone gets back to work.

Some of you have told me that you had to close your Etsy shops several times around Christmas last year because you sold out. Don't miss a sale because you aren't prepared. This will be a banner year for artisan made jewelry.
