For the more serious of cyclists, the Garmin Edge 305 is the next system in the Edge series. With its sleek design, the Edge 305 features a 1.17W x 1.44H (29.65 x 36.69 mm), 128 x 160 pixels, 4-level grayscale LCD with back-light for easy viewing just like its little brother, the Edge 205. Ready to go out of the box, the Edge 305 requires no calibration and easily attaches to your bicycles handlebars or stem. The Garmin Edge 305 features a highly sensitive SiRFstarIII built-in patch receiver, providing extremely reliable reception in conditions such as tree cover or even while deep in a canyon as well as a barometric altimeter for more accurate elevation readings. Garmin has taken it a step further with the Edge 305 by giving you the ability to interface the optional Heart Rate Monitor (305HR) or the Wireless Speed/Cadence sensor (305CAD) with it.
